Introduction

Starting on May 13th, 2025, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) mandated that all active construction sites in Mumbai must install real-time air quality monitoring systems. The goal: curb rising pollution levels from construction activities and ensure greater public transparency.

Problem Statement

To address this, the Bombay High Court and BMC enforced a mandate starting May 13, 2025, requiring:
