As air quality is becoming more and more part of overall weather and climate data, this model combines air quality parameters like PM2.5, PM10 and weather parameters like Wind Speed, Wind Direction, Light and Noise into a single device.


ACCURATE

The monitor uses High quality laser sensors, calibrated individually for Indian conditions against BAM (Beta Attenuation Monitor- the most advanced system for measuring ambient air quality.) to measure PM2.5 and PM10. Temperature and humidity sensors are calibrated by a master source traceable to NABL.The device uses an ultrasonic WS WD sensor which has no moving parts, ensuring longer life and ease of installation and maintenance.


WEATHERPROOF

This device comes in an IP55 box to ensure protection from dust and the elements.

The outdoor monitor measures air quality every second, providing real-time data. The device supports Wi-Fi, to connect to the internet and transmit data to the server.

    • Default:
      • Cloud Storage: Data is measured every 30 seconds.
    • Configurable via App/Dashboard
      • Can be changed to 30 sec,1min, 5min, 10min, and 20min via mobile app.
    • Note:
      • Longer measurement frequency ensures longer local memory as a fixed number of items are stored in the memory. Also the sensor is turned off in between intervals which may help extend sensor life.
  • Sending Frequency
    • Default:
      • Sent to the server every 1 minute.
    • Configurable via App/Dashboard
      • Can be changed to 1min, 5min, 10min, and 20min via mobile app.
    • Note:
      • Longer sending frequency reduces power usage and battery backup as sending data to the server is very battery intensive.
